Children’s Lessons

There are a couple different ways to learn the guitar. One approach is to learn how to read sheet music, using a book similar to  Young Beginner Guitar Method. This book teaches technique while learning how to read tabs (guitar music notes) and typical musical notation. At this point, we decide with you and your child the next best step.

Another way is to learn chords often centered around the child’s favor music. These can be anything from pop music to country, hard rock to jazz. We select music based on the child’s interest, and taylor lessons around those specific songs.

Adult Lessons

Similar to children’s lessons, there are a few ways to learn the guitar based on your experience and desired learning. If you’re interested in learning to read sheet music, we use books similar to Fast Track Guitar Method. If you are interested in learning chords, especially those based on your favorite songs, we will pick some out in the initial lesson and taylor our time around those songs.
